About Me

Biblical Servanthood is an obsession of mine, not because I fully understand it nor because I am a good example. Rather it is because I am neither an expert nor an example. I struggle with serving every time and everyday. I believe that servanthood plays a major part in both worship, evangelism, and sanctification for every Christian. Unfortunately, with that conviction I could see how my life and attitude did not hold to that ideal and still does not in some major areas. So I wrote the book and this blog to remind and encourage me. I write to myself because I stink at being consistent with this and I hope others may benefit from my struggling and my preaching and questioning to myself. Lastly most if not all  of the resources I looked into about servanthood were more focused on how servanthood enhanced leadership, as if serving were a mere precursor to leading. I started this website for me because I needed a cross-centered approach to servanthood not leadership.

I'm a Christian now get out of my way!

South Carolina is planning to issue hideous looking license plates for Christians, with the words "I believe". Nice message but it assumes people know what you believe in. How about "Saved by Grace" or something..

not sure what to say about this.... so I will give this a virtual shaking of the head for pure silliness...

Yeah, but give SC credit for trying. A lot of states won't even try to appease evangelicals and the "I BELIEVE" plate isn't the only new one we're coming out with. I don't know exactly what it says, but another new one they're coming out with is going to have a pro-life message, so that'll be cool. As a SC resident, I'm all about these new license plate ideas and will be looking forward to new, even better ideas in the future.

I hope the new liscene plates are better than the one CNN showed, it looked rather bad. A pro-life message would be great and I hope many would get that.... It's just for the "I beleive" sounded vague and slightly arrogant. Would that really be a great witness to people? Does that communicate the Gospel effectively?

Its ok that SC is open to liscne plates like these, but I just wish they designed them better than one I saw on CNN.
